Sounds like it'll be an interesting run on the DYno.. I bet it'll feel like an eternity waiting for the result to come out...

The design is, as you said, unbelievable!.... I can sorta see the change to the efficiency of the scavenging. You might find a lack of back pressure , but if you're using the same exhaust, it should be alright (I think?) ... anyways... we're all waiting patiently for those results.

Here's to hoping you get 7 rwkw AT LEAST!!!!...

First road test of the 4495 PaceMaker Headers on my car.

Note as my car is Custom tuned I have put back into it the Factory Ford tune for safety as I do not wish to over lean the engine. So these results are from driving around with the Factory tune only.

The Guy at PaceMaker said, “These headers are designed to be used with ECU Tuning”

I’m happy to say installing the Factory setting back into the vehicle was with out question a very smart call as the feel and drive of the vehicle has changed dramatically.

The crackle is back, when I changed my CAT to a SMS stainless last year I lost the crackle that the car had when backing off and when changing gears. Well I can say with a smile its back and its like music to my ears.

Totally new feel to the car on and off song, the engine sounds smooooooooth and full of life and not reluctant as before (it always felt held back a bit), that being said the Nm are down guys, way down.

The engine now reves out a lot faster and harder now but what was an animal is gone. This may change with the Custom tune however I’m not logging it in till the Air/Fuel can be monitored.

Hope to get it on the C&V Dyno on Saturday early.

With the Factory tune in it feels as quick as the old headers did with the Custom tune just with out the torque.

“Rob from Peter to give to Paul”, this sums up these the 4495 headers well “Rob your down Low Torque to gain Top end Power”.

I now expect to see 185 rwkw when it hits the rollers on Saturday.

BTW they don't look anywhere near as good bolted on as the 4490's could be the lack of coating but my 4490's are the Ducks Guts.

The Pace Maker web site dosn't list the diff between the two headers but heres the big one.

The 4490 has 2 X 3 into 1 and then the last collector is a 2 into 1.

The 4495 has 3 X 2into 1 and the last collector is a 3 into 1.

They don't tell you that.
