I hope you don't have side air bags as you can't fit seat covers with side air bags as the bags come out from the back rest of the seat.

Out of the backrest??????? :wassat:

They if they are anything like the Late model camira units, they are fitted on the edge of the back rest (RH side for driver and LH side for passanger) and cannot deploy if you have a seat cover over them. They are destructive in deployment, meaning they rip specially designed seams in the seat stiching upon activation.

You may have noticed seats with them fitted are a bit harder in that region than standard seats due to the housing.

Yep they can and do. They deploy between the seat and the door in a side impact collision (and rollover too I believe)

heres a quote from the VT owners hand book (I assume they are similar in the Falcon, perhaps someone with a BA fitted with side air bags can check/verify this)

the air bags are stored in the side of the seat backs closest to the door....after deployement, the relevant seat, seat belt, sensor and control module require replacement
