I can't recommend Lucas Pads enough. They are No.1 performance pad in europe and are a used a lot by corvette owners in the US.The guy who I sourced them through said out of all the stuff he sells these had the most versatile operating temps without being a track pad, and in some cases were better than track pads...I have had them on my previous car (WRX) and now on the Typhoon with DBA4000 they are quiet, clean and purposeful. I have just ordered my new DBA 4000 slotted and x-drilled rotors. Want a pad that has good street application as well as the odd track/drag event. Don't mind dust. Can clean wheels, but need to stop 1st and foremost.

DBA recomended I don't get the Drilled rotors and only use the Slotted for Road and occasional track...I can promise about 6-7 hot laps at Sanddown with the Slotted 4000's and Lucas pads. They are coupled with QFM semi race pads and all I can say it is like a match made in heaven. You wont find much to read on QFM pads but the guy behind them has a very long history in the market.I used to run Ultimates but as the guy at StopMaster Brakes in Gateshead (Newcastle) said, they are a disc's worst nightmare. They ruined my discs. The QFM's have virtually no wear on the discs and produce 1/2 as much dust as the Ultimates. After taking a spirited run down Kangaroo Valley towards Nowra, there was virtually no brake fade which I thought was pretty amazing. In a word, QFM pads for me and even on future cars.Cheers
