I've found one trick for economy (helps for performance as well) is to turn the traction control off. With this function disabled the car has more performance and is much more responsive. Turning traction control off may help fellow members achieve better fuel consumption.

How/Why.........to quote a famous fish and chip shop owner...Please explain

iaschmidt, good to hear you got a decent improvement in power.

Have you had her on a dyno, if so can you post a copy of power and torque graphs for us to look at, cheers.

having had the T for just over a month now done 2500ks finally had a go and giving it a good run on the weekend when I went on the XR clubs Rally. Took in from city out Mt Glorious to Wyvienhoe and ESK accros to Ravensborne and Toowoomba and down to gatton. About 350Ks of mountains etc and occasional boots to its limit spd limit that is .......(I mean no no there wasn't) the Average was 18L/100 not bad considering the driving style. On the way back just cruising home 100 - 110 or so I got 10.5L/100 and overall average is about 13L/100.

Overall couldn't be happier with the beast (we ended up winning the rally even against BBF's Own XR8) loving every minute the looks the sound the power just everything rules and the last run really proved it.:unsure::unsure:<_<

2000km's on the clock, averaging 18.1L per 100/km....

Very, very bad..

The second day I had it, on the way to Canberra and back we were averaging 14/L per 100km.

These are all taken from the trip computer, I haven't yet sat down and worked it out manually.

I reset the trip computer as soon as I picked it up as well.

Maybe it would be better Cro, if you left some space between the back of the accelerator pedal and the firewall ...

After 9500 km my trip computer reads an average of 13.3l/100km, however my Excel Spreadsheet showns 12.5l/100km :geek:
