I'm trying.

My T has 9600k's and this last tank full I have thrashed it. Full throttle starts almost every time (instantaneous hits 99.9 from stand still).

In manual mode with the traction off I can get both wheels spinning and leave the occasional twin blackie and the worst fuel economy I can manage is 14.6 indicated, or (14.1 actual).

So what the hell are you guys doing? :oooh:

I think it's called Sydney traffic. Your stopped more than you are going!

Dont know how most of you guys drive but id love some of your fuel figures.

I drive mainly outside peak hours with about 1/4 of driving on freeways and I usually go hard from the lights.

ATM without adjusting the trip computer since new and with 6500km on the clock im averaging 16.6lt/100km.

I'm not complaining cause I dont care the way the car drives more than compensates for this, after filling up to overflowing the trip computer only reads 430km left in tank maximum usually a bit lower between 400-425km per tank and I also havent been able to but 68lts in it either the most I got was 63lts and that was with trip computer showing 1km left in tank.

Just my experience, and still washing the car twice a week and still have a permanent smile on my dial. :D

Mine is exercised rather than thrashed, then has to sit at 100 for a lot of time on the highway.

Agree, some of the exercise does raise a small bead of perspiration occasionally!

Yeah, I'm averaging about 13.5 to 14.0, but with a bit of stop/start stuff and my run to work is along a 100kmh highway with traffic, so not exactly highway stuff. I'm hoping ot get the time to do a decent "bush" run soon and see if 10 or 11 l/100kms is possible.

Extra, extra happy if that can be done.

22-23l/100km. I drive hard in the city with little freeway work. Lots of flat our acceleration in 1st-3rd gear for my car!

I dont think that figure is that bad. I got 19-21l/100km in a 2 year old Berlina auto with less than 20,000 on the clock. I expected the XR6T to be much higher due to the turbo. I get around 260-290km/tank (from reserve warning tone to reserve warning tone). Havent done the maths yet to see if the figures the car tells me match the odometer and petrol bowser figures. cra has done abou 2800km.

Mine still regularly slurps 16.5 in the city and around 10.5-11.0 on the highway. I do have a 3.5" exhaust and a cold air intake kit on my car though so I'm not sure if this is having any effect (positive or negative?).
