Thanks Scotty, had a great trip. Did the Gillies and the Captain Cook Hwy (3 times) and had a ball punting the beast through all of those lovely corners (Kathie's stomach wasn't having as much fun as I was though!!).

Last time I checked, Nth Qld wasn't part of NT and therefore no such luck in checking out the speed limited unfortunately....

Al.

The rotors are great, BUT you should get aftermarket pads, the standard pads arent great and they also cost $200 to replace.

:spit: Rotors certainly improve the stopping, but the standard pads squeal. Go for FERODOS I say, big difference. Cost $300 :nyaah:

Thanks Fordtech.

l think that confirms what a lot here have suspected all along. Wonder what Fords next move, if any, will be?

Yup.

Managed to do that to my permanent fix 4 or so weeks ago.

More than happy with my DBA/Ultimates setup, 7000 Ks so far, including a track day, no probs at all. My service manager was very impressed with my brakes when he had my car for a couple of days too!

Don't know what their next move will be but do know that they are finally admiting they have a problem & are endevouring to find a permanent solution.

And if the next permanent solution takes as long to get to the dealers as the last "permanent solution"?

My lease will be up by that point.

Not having a go bloan, just playing devil's advocate.
