Important to torque the wheels up in a star pattern, and I have heard (correct me if I am wrong) that 135Nm is about right. Think torque wrench.Currently I have dba slotted rotors and bendix ultimate pads, after having the permanent fix from ford go to shudder in a day.No shudder yet (hasnt been long though), but the improvement in braking from the pads is worth the money on its own. My only complaint so far is that now I have a longer pedal as, when you apply the brake, you effectively need to take up the gap that now exists between the pads and the rotors. Definitely a dodgy fix, but one I guess I'll have to get used to. I mentioned the longer pedal etc to the dealer and he said that he received that 'feedback' (otherwise known as complaint) from several who have had it done.I too look forward with great interest to seeing these new calipers. I don't know about you guys, but it is not ideal, although it is nice, that every service advisor on the front desk at the dealer says hello to you by name when you come in (some even remember my rego!!).
