I recon this is all because of these rack bolts. Can we fix these ourselves?

Changed the lower control arm bushes and the shaking is gone.

I did upper+lower arms on the chassis side and upper ball joint. Well, Luke did them, I helped a bit Brake shudder/steering wobble under brakes now gone! Replaced after 24 hours with standard high frequency brake shudder that it had when I bought it 3 years ago, now to get the discs looked at. Hopefully the DBA4000's will be ok with a skim, they've copped a beating from the worn bushes.

I have recently had the balancing and alignment done (as I thought it could have been balance)My rotors have groves in them but nothing major, since it happens even without braking im guessing it could be the bushes? Is it expensive to have it looked at? I wont be attempting it myself :D Edited 09/10/11 09:42 PM by Vivasanti

One of the idiots didn't set the torque wrench right and all my nuts were loose. One even came off on the freeway.I swear to god the only per-requisite to get an apprentice mechanic job at a dealer is to be a drugged up moron with a rats tail.
