does anyone have a contact number for a supplier for the dba rotors & a price from previous buys. think I'll just change them as senna t suggested instead of stuffin around, it gave my abit of a fright when I had to get on the anchors in a hurry around the windey bits today & the wheel was jumpin around in me hands, steady she went for abit after that!!!

no dramas mate, if you have a look around in the Brake workshop sub-forums there is a ton of info on the possible upgrades you can do. I would suggest you get braided brake lines too, PBR do them amd again are available from Repco

Had the brake shudder thing recently so I upgraded to DBA 4000, however I had my car into Ford servive recently and mentioned it and the report from them came back stating that the rotors were machined and now ok. I cannot understand though that how they got around my locknuts as I left the locking key at home. If they have some method then im pleased to hear it but im leaning towards no they dont have an alternative method and they have lied to me.

Ongoing incompetance and the nerver ending runaround I can accept, well barely but we do get used to it, but outright dishonesty is by far another thing.

My Falcon had a small shudder, as soon as my mechanic machined the disks, and gave me good quality BENDEX pads, Its gone... I drive my car hard... I'd say auto's, and city driving are most affected (and have always thought it) as the brakes work so much harder than a manual (auto gears aren't assisting you to slow down, until you get to a certain speed and they drop a gear) but in a manual, you can assist your brakes by shifting down also, taking a lot of strain from them and being able to brake later.

I have standard rotors, and no warping, and I go incredibly hard on my brakes. I bought the car second hand, and it already had a very small shudder, but that was it... gone since machining.
