Guest Mac_Dude Guests Posted 24/10/03 05:03 AM Share Posted 24/10/03 05:03 AM I have had the DBA slotted and crossed drilled rotors on now for a very pleasent 10000km until last month and the shudder is back.I do tow quite heavy loads maybe twice a month and dont consider I give my ute a hard time with the brakes. Where is the GOOD news :(

I've hammered them like crazy ... drive to work and back includes a 600m drop in height on steep bitumen roads where one can get plenty of speed up ... about 4 weeks now and all is good what Ford did was explained to me but I forget to remember (if you know what I mean ... gotta love that smilie)something about aligning the bearing race and tightening in sequence all components from the hub back ... now that I've sung it's praises .....wwrwrwrwrrwrwrwrrw iiitttlllbbbbbbaaaccckkk

On the weekend and on the way to work just to test them out. They are great with fade too. I thought they faded out on me once through a twisty road, but it was my imagination as the green spot was still green.Didn't happen again.I'd recommend them to every one. Al.AL.I have had the DBA slotted and crossed drilled rotors on now for a very pleasent 10000km until last month and the shudder is back. Thanks ASNU. Have you had the fix yet? Mine gets the shudder every 3000-3500 klms with probably 65-35 city/highway. My beast is in today for the fix and the dealer tells me that they haven't had any come back yet after having it done... although posts on this site tell me otherwise!! I'll let you know how it goes.Hopefully there will be no more of this Al.
