His T would have been Merc Silver of course so that he could call out.......HI HO Silver.......No sorry, hang on, getting my Hero's mixed up a bit there....Better get back to the boss's stuff. The bulletin said that the 'fix' is a new method and machine for disc machining. there was no mention of caliper fixes of any kind. Seems to me that Ford are trying to put us all off while they try to find the real fix. Even the techs at the dealership have no confidence that this will do the job. Not good enough IMO. I am trying to figure out the conditions it happens, cold or hot, fast or slow. I got it this morning after a long run in slow traffic... a gap...a quick flick to 90k then a hard brake when an idiot changed lanes without indication, lots of shudder down to about 60k then smooth. it didnt come back for the rest of the trip.On another trip, big brake from high speed the pedal went soft and faded badly pedal felt spongy during braking. I was expecting better braking performance. I didnt buy the premium brakes rats :nugget: if ford dont fix it I will look very closely at dba to come up with a solution, I reckon it is going to be pads, rotors and maybe even calipers.Still it is a GREAT car!!!!Craig
