... a pat on the knee only, if it goes any further I promise I'll post photos.

Yeh, yeh, sure, sure ... maybe she thinks it's a manual and it needs a gear change? :o ;)

Was that a swish or shudder?

In my experience ... first the shudder and then the swish ... then the ciggie. B)

This is one of the titles Gandalf is given in the books ... nothing to do with John Wayne.

Yeah....I know that but can't you just hear him saying it?

Of course, he would be standing on the roof of a T, hands on hips, a bit of a swagger happening, ten gallon tipped back at an angle, and arm sweeping in a wide arc.

GRHS, he would have made a wonderful Gandalf.....

PS. His T would have been Merc Silver of course so that he could call out.......HI HO Silver.......

No sorry, hang on, getting my Hero's mixed up a bit there....

Better get back to the boss's stuff.

Had my beast iback at the dealer for a diff issue early this week and saw the latest tech bulletin re the brakes issue (mine has had 3 sets of rotors including originals and 4 machinings to date - done 31K). The bulletin said that the 'fix' is a new method and machine for disc machining. there was no mention of caliper fixes of any kind. Seems to me that Ford are trying to put us all off while they try to find the real fix. Even the techs at the dealership have no confidence that this will do the job.

Not good enough IMO.

My "T" as done 10,000 and seems to get the brake shudder at times but not all the time. I am trying to figure out the conditions it happens, cold or hot, fast or slow. I got it this morning after a long run in slow traffic... a gap...a quick flick to 90k then a hard brake when an idiot changed lanes without indication, lots of shudder down to about 60k then smooth. it didnt come back for the rest of the trip.

On another trip, big brake from high speed the pedal went soft and faded badly pedal felt spongy during braking. I was expecting better braking performance. I didnt buy the premium brakes rats :nugget: if ford dont fix it I will look very closely at dba to come up with a solution, I reckon it is going to be pads, rotors and maybe even calipers.

Still it is a GREAT car!!!!
