I had the brakes machines again due to a slight shutter. (I do have the fix). I was advised that the disks are getting a bit thin and may need replacing in the next service. Has anyone else had did replaced nuder warranty due to over machineing? As my car is onlyt 12 months old and 47,000ks there is no issue with Ford replacing them, but I would hate to be at the end of the warranty and need to come up with $$ to replace them due to this issue..I can not complain about the service I receive from my dealer re this. they allways appear give me the truth re what they know / what we know via the back door (forum) my 2.7c

Brake pads are not a warranty item as such they are a service item and only will be replaced at your expence when needed or if you ask for them.EVERY ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU HAVE YOUR PADS REPLACED WITH QFM OR SOMETHING ELSE THAT OTHER MEMBERS HAVE USED AS THE FORD PADS WILL ONLY BRING BACK THE SHUDDER. IT IS NOT THE DISC'S...Ian
