How many L/100Kms do you get on the trip computer?

Mines a stock manual and it varies between 10 on a trip and up to 17 L/100 around town.

If you drive it like they should be driven, 350 to a tank is about right around town

One way of getting better economy from your T is to get a edit and tune as they factory tune runs overally rich on cruise and WOT. If your car is missing ir could be time to change the spark plugs and leads.

No leads here mate. Could be a dodgy coil pack though.

But if you got a miss and its under warranty take it back to Fraud and let them work it out!

And 350kms a tank sounds perfectly normal to me. Its a 4L Turbo 6. You ain't gettin' fuel economy no matter what you do.

Best bet to maximise it is to get yourself an edit and get your tuner to do an economy tune. This will give you the best possible economy you can, and probably still more power than your getting mow...

That way you can flash back and forward between the monster map and economy map as you wish.

I agree. And yep, what do you expect from a 4L turbo

One thing to check; when you fill up, make sure that it's actually filling to 50L or more. I only got around 320km or so off a tank, and when I filled it up it didn't fill to anywhere near 50L. After that, it was fine though.

Also, if you're driving in mainly city driving, expect worse economy. I get between 350 and 480, depending how I drive.

ha ha ha ha ha :spoton:

If I got 350kms out of a tank I'd be cheering!!!

How does 250kms sound............. and about 24lt/100kms.

That said - I goes hard for a stock auto with only a panel filter fitted (about 190rwkw on the dyno)

Luck for me I only live 10kms from work.

PS: I have raised this fuel economy issue with Ford who said everything was right with the car, "maybe somthing wrong with your foot" - It is a size 12. I dont expect Ford will solve your issue.

I always get around 350km per tank. Fortunatly I do not pay the fuel bills so I am not worried.

The only reason for such poor economy is my right foot. I am always getting to the speed limit the fastest.

My best economy I have seen was 440km and this was as cruise leader last weekend. Most of the driving was slow or on the freeway.

Normal city driving, which luckily I do very little of in this sh*t city of Sydney, the F6 averages around 12-14 L/100km. So 500km is about right from a tank. Freeway driving is closer to 700km. This is on a stock tune. That'll improve with a good tune.

Yep, I am seeing the same figures. I am getting around the 13L/100 around town and when on the highway getting 8.3L/100. Love the F6 for ecconomy, it's much better than the T I had previously, though it might be down to the ZF box, so the new BF-T's might be pretty good too.
