Does anyone have rims with the same offset front and back? Has that affected handling at all?The main reason I ask is because I'm looking for some 18" rims for circuit work. Are the BA phoon rims the same offset front and rear? Guest Guests Posted 27/02/07 08:41 AM Share Posted 27/02/07 08:41 AM I had a set of Typhoon 19's on my car, it's quite low and the front right would hit the gaurd coming in and out of driveway's esp if the wheels weren't straight. Front's fit the back and vice versa although I didn't have big brakes.

If you look at the new car yard at Darra you can see the rear wheels are not out as far as on ours. In this case the fronts and backs have the same offset.Ours the rears have more offset to the outside of the guard FMCO says this was done just for appearance, and increased handling. The reason for the change was customers complaining about not changing or rotating the tyres. I got the 18s from EvilF6 for the track fitting some sticky stuff for the FPV day If I cant out run you down the straight then
