Dont buy a new dash or even a 2nd hand one.

Speak to a vinyl dye/spray painter/detailer.

They can respray your dash to its original colour (or any colour you want really).

It will probably cost you 1/5 of what youd pay for a replacement dash.

Kwik Fix

I've used them for a couple of scratches and repair to an alloy rim, farkin excellent results could not spot where the damage was, that said I havent used them for interior repairs and their all independant guys so couldnt comment on the guy in your area but it's an option rather than forking out for a whole new dash.

I did exactly the same thing to my last BA XR6T. Dont panic ... just do nothing and it will gradually get back to just about normal. I think Ninka has the right reason for it happening. If you leave it, the oils and whatever else in there that causes the greasy film on the inside of your windscreen will gradually leach out and return the stained areas back to normal ... god only knows what it does to us though as we bretahe it all in!

Cheers,

Scott
