What sort of difference you have seen and what you would do differently if you could change your system, either by adding better parts or subtracting parts you didnt feel neccessary...Iv had a quote from pedders of about $2150 (told me its the best package he can possibly fit for my ute) for new front adjustable coil overs, new lowered leaf springs in the rear with new struts, camber kits and all new bushes throughout... Is this a good price or would you recommend something different... Just after opinions...I dont carry loads in my ute, just like the ute for the menacing look and brute attitude so want it pretty low... Im also based in Perth, so any local help would be great.Cheers in advance Utesters... Guest Guests Posted 23/02/07 03:19 AM Share Posted 23/02/07 03:19 AM Hey mate,If your after something really low, why not go coilovers in the front and airbags in the rear?My mate had this setup fitted to his VZ SS ute by Pedders in Cannington and it cost him around $3k. He also ended up getting a compresser and switches fitted by them for an extra $2k so it's now fully adjustable... looks sweet when its on the floor Where abouts in WA are you? If your not too far away from Rockingham you could have a gander over the weekend and see if you like it? Guest Guests Posted 23/02/07 03:48 AM Share Posted 23/02/07 03:48 AM No worries. You could always add the switches and compressor later when you save a bit more coin. If I had a ute that's the suspension I'd be going with. It looks mint and it's a very comfortable ride. I used kings all round with std shocks and I reckon it rides bloody awesome considering whats been done! im "thinking" about doing the swaybar upgrade but honestly I dont think its needed the car barely bodyrolls at all as it is!unless u live in a twisty area or gunna attend track days your money is better spent elsewhere instead of shocks/coilovers!
