Having finally gotten feed up with the whine my diff is making I have decided it is time to have the diff rebuilt (2nd time) and change the ratio.

I am uinsure whether to go a 3.9 or 4.11. What would you guys reccommend?

Also Is anybody able to reccomend a good place to hace this done in sydney?

Thanks

I got mine done at Diff Technics, it all depends where you are located.

I do highly reconmend them, they did top work, have had no probs with the diff at all.

I do reconmend after you have "broke" in the new gears, to get the oil dumped and fresh stuff in, because of all metal fragments from the new parts.

From what I have been told you cant get 3.9's that fit in a BA/BF diff although I could be wrong. If that's the case then your choices are now 3.73 0r 4.11 and if it was my choice I'd go the 4.11's.

On the other hand, you could find a low km FPV diff out of a wreck or something and get the 3.73's that way. That would save you the cost of a rebuild :hiwelcome:
