My 2000 AU was financed through FMC (I worked for myself during this period as well) and I was rather pleased with their products and services. My previous two cars back in the U.S. were financed through FMC as well. Again, never any issues with them.

No penalty with paying off early with Ford Credit...

I have done so twice already.....

Pay as much as you want when you want but dont settle for anything more than 10% as others have quoted...........

You will only get offered more if you are considered a risk.. So just tighten your paperwork up........

I refinanced before the first installment was due, back in july05..

I was a prime candidate for finance, but just didn't read the fine print.. lesson learnt on that one!

managed to refinance and pay the same amount each month with 4k more on the loan!

I shoulda bought the car on the credit card, same rate and more flyer points hahahaha

My last 3 cars have been with Ford Credit. Nothing but good things to report here. As with anything, shop around for the best deal that suits your circumstances. If not happy with the 1st quote, don't be afraid to ask for something better. More often than not, a finance company will come to the party if they want your business.

Went with esanda not long ago 8.75%. That was negotiated from 9%. However they slugged me extra cost/fees ontop of that. I'm always on edge when dealing with the sales guy and it gets worse with finance. Hope that helps
