I am guessing that a Edit would bring the KW's up to about 240-245 at the wheels or am I wrong. The reason I ask is that I have been toying with the purchase of a Phoon, but would prefer to do the mods on mine as it is a cheaper way of getting the extra KW's. ( I realise at the expense of my warranty should things go wrong). Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/32605-edit-for-bf-xr6t/ Share on other sites

I think its the high torque output that rooted the clutch.is yours a manual or auto.a bf foon with a 6 speed auto and an edit only would be a sweet ride also Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/32605-edit-for-bf-xr6t/#findComment-498306 Share on other sites

Injectors throttle both of them. Not a hope in hell that the BF puts out 255rwkw stock !! Only 245 at the flywheel. But from there, you then need the bigger intercooler, maybe better box ?? (is typhoon and BF T running the same Box), bigger exhaust, bigger injectors, etc.Get the Typhoon and EDIT IT Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/32605-edit-for-bf-xr6t/#findComment-498352 Share on other sites

I guess it depends on what your looking for. I say go for the typhoon but I'm just a bit biased on this Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/32605-edit-for-bf-xr6t/#findComment-498356 Share on other sites
