Does a Edit on a BF T bring it up similar RWKW as the F6 & if the figures are the same & it doesn't overly stress the motor, why do FPV go for the larger air intake & intercooler? I am guessing that a Edit would bring the KW's up to about 240-245 at the wheels or am I wrong. The reason I ask is that I have been toying with the purchase of a Phoon, but would prefer to do the mods on mine as it is a cheaper way of getting the extra KW's. ( I realise at the expense of my warranty should things go wrong). :spoton:

from my experience.

my bf xr6t made 255.5 rwkw fully stock on 9 psi, stock airfilter and no 2nd cai, edit only.

after a bigger cooler and injectors were added the stock xr6turbo clutch gave out, around 275/280 rwkw. I think its the high torque output that rooted the clutch.

is yours a manual or auto.

a bf foon with a 6 speed auto and an edit only would be a sweet ride also :spoton:

Stock BA's are around 195rwkw, edit takes em to about 240ish.

Would think the BF would go no better post edit than the BA. Injectors throttle both of them.

Not a hope in hell that the BF puts out 255rwkw stock !! Only 245 at the flywheel.

But from there, you then need the bigger intercooler, maybe better box ?? (is typhoon and BF T running the same Box), bigger exhaust, bigger injectors, etc.

Get the Typhoon and EDIT IT :drivingalong:

If it's just the extra power that your after then the edit is probably the go as it's going to be cheaper but then again the typhoon is a whole different car. I guess it depends on what your looking for. I say go for the typhoon but I'm just a bit biased on this :drivingalong:

my post says 255.5 fully stock with edit only.

wanna see the dyno chart.

I think he must have intepreted your post wrong, as 255rwkw completely stock except edit is quite the norm :spit:

I think that a bf foon would probly be enough with the 6 speed auto to satisfy anyone even without the edit, its a nice package big brakes good style nice wheels :spit:

spend a few grand on the t and u will have a mean streeter :roflmbo:

I have seen the typhoon get around 280 rwkw with edit only, it depends on who tunes it also.
