Hi Guys, I have just received my new flash tuner with some tunes. So I went and loaded the 8psi tune and the car seems to have no boost. So I put the car back to factory and still no boost. The car was dyno'd to have 210rwkw before I put in any tunes.

Here are a few questions from a newbie, I hope someone can help me out.

1. Does it normally take about 1-2 mintues to flash the car?

2. After the flash is finished, is the power light supposed to flash while a solid led lit with the tune you just loaded?

3. After the flash is loaded, does it take some time (1 hour or so) for the computer to learn all these new settings and produce 240+rwkw or is it instantanous?

1. A BA takes 2 to 3 minutes. a BF 1 to 2 minutes,

2.I thought the power and tune number led where both solid once flashed (but im not sure... :fool: )

3.No the reflash is instaneous. Once you flash tune its in there, its only the trims that take time to learn.

I just reread your post and if you have no boost under the stock tune you may have some other underlying issues thats causing it. Check out all you piping connections under the bonnet. The crossover plenum to throttle body is a good place to start... :fool:

I would say you have put the 8psi tune in and it has boosted more than normal and blown an intake pipe off. Very common problem and easy to fix, just follow the induction path and make sure none are off, my guess is the intercooler pipe, make sure you tighten all the rest of the clamps too
