For those that do have the earls inline oil filter. Has anyone actually found a location to purchase replacements?

Has anyone replaced them, or do you just clean them up each time?

if you clean them up, what do you use?

cool, so what do you use to clean it?

Petrol?

throttle body cleaner?

degreaser?

I can list a lot of products that clean oil off a small screen, but I am sure that somewhere along the line this will be bad for the oil, hence the reason why I don't want to use the wrong product.

Pull it apart, clean with petrol, allow to dry completely before reassembly/installation.

Been looking around for a thread that was started a little while back re the earls filter. Someone used some aeroflow fittings & P clamps to mount the filter to the front of the block instead of the side. It had a list of the bits he used. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
