Just place a rag to catch the small amount that does come out so later when leak testing you know it is fresh.

I thought mine would have been removed when my engine was replaced at RDP. When I queried wether or not they had taken it out I was told "Ford put it there for a reason". I was kinda shocked as its a fairly common problem.

Is there such thing as over supply of oil to these turbos? Anyone else who has removed the filter all together experiencing any issues?http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbo-Oil-Feed-Line-Ford-BA-BF-XR6-FPV-F6-w-Garrett-GT3076R-GT3582R-/271032902407Anyone tried this replacement line? jacksplatt11 New Member 17 Member For: 14y 12d Gender: Male Posted 29/12/12 07:32 AM Share Posted 29/12/12 07:32 AM All done, decided not to fit the Earls kit and just remove the filter, it didn't look blocked but best to remove it anyway, was quite easy with the airbox removed, didn't need to get under the car at all.I just reused the existing washers, thought I had an oil leak as after the I ran the engine for a bit to check for leaks, there was a few drops on the ground afterwards, but after driving around today I haven't seen any drops at all, so it may have still been oil from the initial removal of the oil line from the fitting, will pay attention over the next few days to make sure
