sorry for the noob question, but when u guys say remover the filter completely, do you mean litterally the filter inside of that plug? take that circlip out and pull out the filter with long nose pliers or something?

im guessing the banjo bolt goes over those holes in that plug? sorry never played with turbo lines!

Just a quick question about the rotation of the filter fitting on reassembly. Does it matter which way the filter holes are facing in comparison to the oil line? I assume the inside of the banjo bolt collects the oil from all 4 holes? Please say it does because I just put mine back together and paid absolutely no attention to its rotation.

Is it better to do this when performing an oil lchange? Just wondering how much oil loss there is when you pull the banjo fitting off.

I think I would do it independent of the oil change so the whole system didn't drain of oil. I don't recall losing much. I guess you should be careful starting it up to make sure there is oil in the turbo.
