I went to a dealer today to try to get one and he wasn't sure what I was talking about. Neither was I to be honest, he said there's a filter just before the oil pressure switch?? But I didn't think this was what it would be. Anyone help me out? Better be safe than sorry. I have heard from a few places that taking it out altogether is fine too, but I chose to have a filter. The oil goes through the main oil filter just before it reaches the oil sender/feed lineSadly you are wrong, I did my oil change on monday and inspected my earl filter to find it had caught 3 or 4 small particles of metal that would have ended up in my turbo.Please guys, If you have one fitted let people know what you find as opinions like these will ruin someones turbo.Not having a go at you, Just thought you should know.
