that's right.....I took delivery of my BF ute in september last year and it has been back to the dealership 4 times already to try and fix a water leak into the cabin on the drivers side. AND IT STILL LEAKS!!

my car gets undercover parking at home as well as at work so that's why it takes so long to test if it leaks as it hardly see's the rain.

the dealership has been concentrating on the rear of the cabin all the other times re-sealing the rear window and apparently re-sealing a seam at the rear, which obviously havnt worked.

so the othjer night as the rain started I backed my car out into the rain and sat in it for half an hour in the rain, turns out the water is coming in from the front as the carpet gets wet from front to rear....this is as far as my testing went and the car will be returning to the dealership next week for the 5th time for them to try again.

you really think FoMoCO would be looking after me by now wouldnt you? apparently "inconvieniance isnt covered by warrenty". I can understand this for the first time but by now I really think someone should be kissing my arse.

your thoughts?

Andrew

Even if its their fault.. like backing your ute into a pole.. they wont look after you!!!

Go above the service people!

straight to the dealer principle.. tell him your problem and how many times you have had to take your BRAND NEW car in to get a leak fixed!

you will have it sorted in no time

I had a similar problem with mine when I first got it. leaked near passengers head only in heavy rain. the seam under that black strip of rubber had a hole in it. unfortunhately, I have since seen quite a few BA's with pretty pathetic seams where 2 panels are joined together. Mine used to leak in the car wash too-so I used that to pin point where it leaks from. If yours is leaking at your feet, I assume on the outer side, I would guess a windscreen or the seam that runs along the roof about 2-3 inches in from the door line

I hear ya buddy. Mines been back to the Fraud a total of 6 times(seven days total) in the last 2 months to diagnose and fix a knock in the arse end that has arisen since they changed the diff. They changed 3 diff bushes on the last visit(supposedly) and its now worse than ever... :spoton:

I've accepted that I will have to find the problem myself and then take it back...

Yeah I bought it from NuFord in Wanneroo. And yes I took it back there. I have my service for my 15000km on Monday. But I will be taking it to a new dealership this time. One in Perth City. Likes hope they can fix this leak.
