Like all things in life a bit of balance is required.Did you consider getting involved with the cars/ mates ?? That certainly would have appeal to most of the guys around here as it is after all a car enthusiasts site and a bit of interest would go a long way.

Only yesterday the NSW chapter went on a cruise and there were a lot of partners involved and without fear of contradiction most if not all had a great time :jerry:

The site often has cruises and weekends away making good friends whilst sharing with the guys their enthusiasm for their cars, and having a great time doing it.A prett good compromise allround.

There is always another side to the story, though being a total car widow would be pretty tough if it is as bad as you say.

Good luck finding a new guy or sorting it out with the ex :tease:

Buf-Phoon,

Car widow never got an invitation to have the chance to try it out...he kept it all a big secret because he was probably taking one of his girlfriends along instead, everything under the bonnet was kept very quite too, so I am learning here about what makes a great ford especially an xr6....have a ford in one of the garages, so I think I'll join the next cruise. Having to learn how to look after own car now, so I hope you guys can help me as I learn, have already learnt alot from the site, when I can contribute I will.

Oh and I am a good navigator as well...actually know how to read maps and follow directions, so you never know someone else in the forum may find these skills handy :jerry:

^^ I concur... :spoton:

to all those who are struggling with women, I can offer only one piece of advice, LISTEN.. imo that's all women really want us to do.. has worked for me everytime, and I have no confidence! never been abe to go up to  a chick in a bar in my entire life.. I always seem to end up with girls who im friends with..

gotta remember to keep yer chin up guys!

Funny that you say that because if you listen to everything a woman says and take it literally you ears will fall off. Women talk a LOT, women say things just because they "felt like saying it."

What you should really do is not listen to what they say but judge them by their actions.

BOV,

O.K. everyone knows women communicate verbally that's how come the babies learn to speak whilst dad's at work all day :spoton: Men communicate through actions rather words, and always prefer to enter their "cave first" when arriving home before ever starting a convo with their women

You want examples of ACTIONS of a good woman - try this out:

He had NO car when he met her she provided the money and resources for him to own no less than SIX cars during their 9 and half years together. He still owes her family the money for the first car :spoton:

Her money was his money - he spent the lot and alot MORE :spoton:

She got him his first piece of real estate she saved her ass off working, going to Uni and provided free board and lodging for him for nearly 4 years, she had to wait for HIS bad credit rating to disappear before she could get the loan for the house.

She drove him everywhere for 6 months because of his loss of licence due to his bad driving record getting up before or by 6 a.m. daily (except on Sundays), she never complained HIS sentence became HER sentence

She provided a Barrister for his court hearing and the money and and and....got him off lightlycensored:

She loved him inspite of all of his failings and he repaid her with buying a Ford XR6 Ute and becoming addicted to the Ute, the internet and cheating and lying, his ego ran wild with the XR6.

I guess SHE deserves to have PLENTY TO SAY, and yet she doesn't, she just gets on with life, not criticising him to others, just deeply shocked that a man could be so dishonourable, particularly when he prides himself on "appearing to be an absolute gentleman" to all who meet him....he is easily recognisable...he is the guy always offering a helping hand to anyone and everyone, buying expensive stuff for himself and others. It's all part of him trying to big note himself and appear to be a much better man than he really is.

HE was the one ALWAYS TALKING (NOT HER) on his internet and mobile to "other women" while she worked her ass off to pay his bills, SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO TALK. :nono:

Oh, and he said he was going out to buy a $20,000 Hilux and bought a Ford XR6 Ute instead ....just a bit of a shocking price difference you may note :msm: Yeah admittedly he didn't TALK ABOUT IT JUST DID IT
