Hey YPURV4,

Yeah its a small world ey?! I saw you today at the lights near Southland too, I was crossing the road, you changed your rims???? but fark man that intercooler is massive, your car looks tough 4 sure! Perhaps there are two fake phoons driving around the area, it wouldnt surprise me really.....

But guys just to clarify, I dont mind 3rd party bodykits on these types of cars at all, and even the FPV badges are fine, but to brand a car an F6 when its clearly no where near it, that's rice as.

Hey mate yeah I had those rims on to try and pass the roady but it didnt work, I hated them they look way to small and the chrome looks crap.

But my rims are back on now, and do you know a guy called craig that works at your work that's my good mate, he was telling me about your car the other day.

I know this car. I took the pictures! :w00t2: With my car in the background.

My mate put it together. Being a panel beater he bought an XT and built it up from there. His girlfriend drove it for a while and everyone wanted to run her at the lights :wtf: Well executed car. Badges are a bit much but looks good anyway.

I reckon it looks mint, very well executed indeed. Im looking at doing a similar thing with an XT for the girl, I do think he should have gone to the extra effort and changed to XR lights though.

Whichever way we look at this, it's really well executed.

The bulgy bonnet gives away the fact that it's not an F6, and yes, the headlights.

But, good on him, looking great.

Guys, at the end of the day, we buy a specific FPV, not solo rights to own one, or a lookalike for that matter.

After all, these bodies, engines, electronics all come from the same place. What is different in our bodies, for example, to a stock XT?

If he fits all the same components, inside and out, at whatever expense, why not be able to badge it a FPV?

Just wondering.

I admire his skills, and determination - and maybe he has something under the bonnet some of us can only dream about - and then again, maybe not.

Who cares, it is a job well planned, and just as well executed.

Dammit Mr Bean will you please stop making so much sense...... :sleepystuff:
