I also dont understand how shell can charge the consumer so much more for it.←No competition for 100 octane fuel at the bowser!I think the issue with ethanol was when sitting for lengthy periods unused, there was a tendency for the fuel to coagulate, causing fuel filter blockage....It was also thought at the time to be probably due to a cocktail mix with octane booster also???
