Help!!!!!!!

Just arrived at my folks place. My mum opened the passenger front door at the same time my wife was pulling on the handle from inside. End result is front passenger door will not close :spoton:

Any ideas please?

I have the door handle out. The cable running to the lock mechanism is still connected but just doesnt feel like it should.

What else should I check??

Luke.

That happened with a mates dad's ford company car. he had to take it into the workshop where they changed out the lock I think it was.

Where the cable connects to the lock, inside the door ( door trim off).

Push or Pull the linkage. It will pop back under spring tension to where it is spose to be.

Checked that too. Where the cable connects to the door handle, the cable had bent and wasnt allowing the door latch to return to its correct position.

Thanks for the help guys.

The only way to fix this is taking it to ford...

they have to take the door apart and redo the hole line.

it happens to alot of taxis and territorys.

it is a problem with the locking system.

you might also find your window will go down but not back up. if it does your are one of the lucky ones
