not sure whether there are many "new V1 boxes" still around.

If buying second hand you must ensure that the donor car has been flashed back to stock.

the xcal 1 boxes are fine mate, aslong as you dont want to live data-log or clear errors. which 99% of people wouldnt do anyway.

they store tunes no differently and the software is the same for all xcal models.

yeah unsure if u can gt new xcal 1 boxes anymore, if buyin second hand just BE SURE its been flashed back to standard on the previous car and it hasnt used all 5 lives.

you car will take "1 life" and can be tuned on as many times as you want... as soon as that box is flashed to standard and loaded into another cars ECU , wallah there goes another life.

Injectors, larger weld-in cat and an F6 lower intake snorkel. That will help the car breathe easier - maybe look at getting a fuel pump too if you can stretch the budget.

If you get the cat and injectors, get your tuner to install them so he can then re-tune the car to suit :w00t2:

I've got a nizpro stage 2 cooler waiting to go on, was planning to go with injectors as well. Would the cat hold me back with just those? I'd like a pump too if I can save patiently for long enough, for safety.

The cat is the biggest restriction on the stock exhaust system .. Pump is a very worthwhile mod. If chasing over 350 in a sedan a surge tank and secondary pump is a must IMO .I would do the cat, squirters and IC in that order . That said best bet is to do it all at once.
