I do have to tow my kids with me, and their combined weight, plus the buggy is near on 65kgs. I hurt my knee at work late last year and have since packed on 8kgs taking me up to 105kgs i want to get down to 90/91 kgs and get my waist down aproxx 4 inches so i'm back into the healthy range. My BMI puts me squarely into the obese category and thats not a place i want to be as a 27yr old...I'm restricted to fairly light exercise because of me Knee (im only doing hydrotherapy and some light swimming) but i already feel better and cant wait to step it up a notch once the knee comes good.Once again Well Done!! keep it up... I did a space food diet called Optifast. Lost 16 kgs in 5 weeks but have put 4 back on over Christmas.Go and see a proper dietitian and do a health check before you do this diet. You basically live off a couple chocolate coated bars, a shake and a bowl of Green vegies. I was loosing 2.5 - 3 kgs per week and felt fine doing it.I had to get the weight off due to ongoing knee problems.Good luck ... Posted 02/02/07 08:37 AM Author Share Posted 02/02/07 08:37 AM JP, I tried this diet and was feeling quite ill after the 3rd week, and it was then discovered, when I almost went into a coma, that I was infact a diabetic. My old man has owned a fruit shop for 37 years, so I can get all the fresh food fruit and Veg that I need. It's just a matter of breaking the habit of eating highly processed sh*t! Just got back from a 1hr ride, so I am definatley keen to get the rest off.
