YETAnti-inflammatories? Nurofen should ease the swelling and pain - its like when I had my wisdom teeth out... that was the only thing that gave relief. The salt water is a must. The biggest problem I have now is when eating something like biscuits or saladas, the area where there was once a tooth, gets hacked by all the sharp edges. After about 6 months it will toughen up like the skin on your hand, and won't hurt as much.Dentist's are next to plumbers in the rip off stakes, and they make about the same!←As long as the dentist doesn't do plumbing on the side. Stuffing his hand in your mouth after being elbow deep in shiit can be really off putting.
