I was still having connection issues with msn, so I decided to look into the router settings a bit more. Since someone mentioned port forwarding, I had a look at the NAT-Port forwarding tab. It has a list of commonly used software that requires port forwarding to work correctly... low and behold MSN Messenger is in the list! I clicked, added and saved and voila... no more dodgy connections :wub:
