Electric is ok but I find them boring at our racing. Whether its on or offroad, nitro for me is much better as rain doesn't stop you and the noise and smell of nitro and methanol makes me cry (literally burns your eyes!) I just love it.For info dont buy a cen car or truck as thay are trash, my advice would be to go to your local track whether its offroad or onroad and ask questions.I have only been in this hobby for 2 years now but am seriously addicted and with that comes the cost of owning such toys which if buying new can be substantial but second hand is generally my way of buying kits.I buy virtually all new items from overseas as the saving is massive and the fact that you pretty much dont get warranty with this hobby (to many variables) why not save as much as possible!Brett

I Swore i'd leave that stock. I like it its super fast and handles nice but i like the Savage better its louder jumps better and is generally better for thrashing around... I probably need to have a play with the suspension i cant stand the way the revo's drag there 's under acceleration The Traxxas centre diff is supposed to fix that but then you lose reverse so im not sure. I reckon i could sort it out by playing with the shocks

IMHO it is much more responsive and lighter since the gear box has less moving parts and the whole car being lighter with no opti drive and servo for reverse. Ive also got hollow alloy push rods and an Motor Saver Air Filter.BTW dont forget to buy a fuel filter as they dont come with one.
