I think I'm with you Allan.  If everyone is bailing early, what fun is the cruise going to be?

I don't mean to be a party pooper either, but my old man wanted me to help him with some work tomorrow, and I'd rather do that and make him happy instead of going on the cruise that none of the regulars are going to - not to mention the thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow.  (No offence to the non - regulars)

To those of you going, have a fun day, and drive safe!! :roflmbo:

I hardly think its fair to jump on the regulars members who have had something pop up at the last minute thas slightly more important than a car cruise. Im at least making the effort to turn up. We where hardly inundated with interest from new members.

damned if you do damned if you dont. Cant please everybody i spose

i still cat get over the lack of interest in this cruise right from the start and how little interest there was in helping to organise it or to attend the meeting we had last year, Where we're all the regular members then?

These things do not happen by themselves, and if nobody shows any interest, or drops out at various stages before the event, then it will just stop.

My own feeling is that we are moving in that direction :gooff:

Oh well, maybe it is time to join the guys at the FPV Tickford club

Luke, I think you have misunderstood me mate. I wasn't having a go at you or anyone else who wasn't coming / couldn't come.

I turned up in the end anyway (as you know cos you saw me there hehe) as I spoke to my old man this morning and managed to delay the work he wanted me to help him with until this afternoon, and of course, I wanted to support the forum cruise concept.

T'was a good day, and looking forward to seeing the pics Steve!

Good fun today guys. Had to turn around at Rockingham due to lunch commitments.

It was great to see the evolution of many of the cars and I've managed to convert my friend who came along with me over to needing a T or Typhoon... driving a passenger fast is all well and good, but when you hand them the keys and they get to drive, they realise how big the gap between their present car and a T is, and they just want one... MORE! (excuse the HSV reference)

Anyway that was my last cruise (a sentimental one) in the XR6T, as its up for sale. Next time I will be bringing the Typhoon I recently bought.

Look forward to whatevers next

Brett
