I'm gunna get a V1, cause myself, and about 8 other blokes witnessed a V2 fitted to an XR8, and it was dead silent. Under load, on the street, on the dyno, we couln't hear it. I did see a V2 fitted to a Monaro, and I could jut hear it, so obviously they vary, but the V2 is still just too soft for my liking. Plus, the V1 will have a dedicated drive belt. If you buy the basic V1 S trim, you can upgrade it to the big V1 T trim easily. The S trim pumps 20psi, making approx 680hp, the T trim pumps 26psi, making approx 825. And it has that whine, which makes me cream my shorts on a very regular basis.The V1 is a excellent unit, with good scope for future upgrades without buying a new blower.
