Hello, Does anyone have fitted a capa supercharger on the ba/bf falcon xr8.

I'm just wondering. whats the sound of it .

I meant what is sound like a normal xr8 or sounds louder

As in exhaust noise? Bugger all unless you make changes to it at the same time.

A big difference in cabin noise but not sure about outside.

atm I am running N/A because of some problems and with a twin 3" system I can here the exhaust note change when the cams work at around 4000rpm, where as with the blower it is more throaty and seat of the pants power is nasty until gear change.

My wife and I own both the xr6t sedan and the blown V8 ute and they are both as exciting as each other and totally different in power delivery

Put it this way if you are considering it, it is well worth the dollars to bring these motors alive.

Depends on the kit. You can't even hear the blower at all on the V2 SQ.

Cant hear it at all! You must have got a good one because I can definately hear mine squealing like a bitch on warm up and whineing when running.

a mates got a genPD kit on his VT berlina and the blowers very very quiet.

after u flog the guts out of it for a while it gets a very slight whine to it.
