Nope, Lightning strike became available at the end of 2003, where HgAg was retired in 2005.

Ego is the replacement.

Oh, anyway, ego is a great colour (if you're not into one of the lolly or gumboot colours).

I've had Sillouette and gun metal grey in Falcons in the past (have undercoat at the moment). Ego is a good compromise. Black looks great when clean, but the dettling dust fallung straight after the shammy passes over can really sh*t you off. My grey car was great at hiding the dust so Ego should be good too.

Gotta say that Silver is so booring, shows up every little speck of dirt form the road and even when clean doesn't do much for me.

Before you ask, silver was the only car available to get the deal I wanted.

I did see a a BFII XR8 today in the new blue, conquerer. Looks just like the old narooma blue which wasnt round long.

And I gave a null vote to yet another colour war.

No it wasn't, HgAG was retired in 2006 for the BFII. I have a BF (March '06 build) in HgAG.

And I'm not too proud to admit it either.

So ner.

Right on. Nov '05 Merc Silv here and love it. Nothing like a metallic dark silver mirroring the sky above when polished and washed. Pure horn. Secondly, looks just as good at night, travelling under street lights.

As for Ego though, well I bloody love it too. Gimme a gunmetal or dark silver car anyday, none of this 'fashion' sh*te. Ego or Merc Silv, cant lose.

The rest of yas can go back to eating alfalfa and tofu with yer *beep* lattes

I love this forum.

Well he decided to get the mercury Silver. Came with premium sound, leather and parking sensors. Not to bad, I gave it a quick spin around the block and was amazed at the difference the 6 speed box makes.
