I know what he's saying about quick though, I had a modded Z1000 (naked bike) that was pretty fast, and that was by no means anywhere near as fast as a full on (litre class) sports bike. I use my bike as a commuter (06 SV650) and couldnt imagine having the need for 160km/hr in first gear kind of grunt. But then again if your into racing then it would be very useful....
