Cant remember what it is now. A mate of mine just bought a Comet something?? and its de-tuned for L and P platers. When you get your license they de-restrict it to its full potential somehow. I think he paid about 6k for it second hand. My advice would be to buy a bigger bike, you'll get too bored too quickly with a 250cc sportbike. Just dont kill youself on it... a friend of mines brother was involved in a knock and run and was messed up pretty bad. Lost his spline and broke a few bones. Just recovered and back to work recently. They can be pretty dangerous, but its the other idiots on the road you have to worry about. I've got a GSXR-750 with a bit of work done to it (130 rwhp) and it goes like a dog shot in the ass - best time of 10.4 at Eastern Creek down the 1/4!
