Regarding Brake pads, I've been often told that EBC 'GREEN STUFF' is a great product, especially when matched with the DBA Rotors. See Below.

Im sure there are other products out there and Im interested to know what other pads are being used to good effect.

Changing rotors and pads is easy as long as you have the right tools

Make sure youve got a good socket set and some decent stands, I spent 2 hours trying to get one bolt off while doing mine.( I think the last set of rotors had been torqued up by a gorilla.) Gave up and drank beer.

I was gettin 2 tyres fitted the next day and rang the guys to see how much it would cost to get it done....$80 for fitting two front rotors(DBA4000) and pads....I thought I can get cleaned up and drink more beer or get back under the car and get covered in more black sh1t, battling with the bolt and maybe still get nowhere.

Best $80 bucks ever spent.

Trick is to get a braker bar then get some pipe to fit over it.. Get a bit more leverage this way then they should come off.

I had to hang off mine when I took them of to paint the calipers.

I've been told the complete opposite and DBA themselves said Greenstuff f@$k the rotors and wouldn't warrant them.

Ferodo DS 2000 are the way to go for a great street pad.

For my 5 cents worth I've got premiums and have changed to Bendix Ultimates which are a great improvement over the originals with good initial bite :spit: and far less dust!

Guys, I'm getting confused now

Which pads are best, I like the sound of better initial bite and less dust though :spoton:

Need more responses here.......
