I went to ford today to get a replacement centre cap for my bf and was shocked to find that they wanted to charge me over 70 dollars for this plastic cap.

has anyone else lost a centre cap before and is there any aftermarket ones/flash ones out there to replace the stockers.

just think that's 292 dollars for 4 caps they must be joking.

Sounds like something Dominelli Ford would try and do. This is one of the biggest rorts ive heard ford try and pull. That sort of cash for a bit of plastic.

Well we cant half tell that you have no love for Dominelli...

Ive heard ppl say in regard to ford spares if you were to replace every part on your car the equivelint cost would be the same as buying three T's off the show room floor. :spit:

its genuine parts....there expensive...always have been and always will be.

try $45 a shot for the little blanking caps that go on a nissan patrol dashboard. that's right, the blanks for the spaces where other switches should be, that have no name branded on them and are half the size of a bloody matchbox.

Our Alex said the same thing theother day. If you were to buy the whole car in parts you would pay about 3 times as much as buying one alrady built.

I can't wait to see what Ford charge's me for all the bit's and piece's I need to get soon... :spoton:

I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised :original:

Although most of the items are ridiculously, expensive every now and then you come across an item that is quiet reasonably priced. Sometimes even cheaper then ebay. That is very, very rare though.
