Hello all

Gotta wack pads on my T so I thought id give QFM in Cardiff a call

They have three different types available for Ba Falcons

Basic normal everyday use for (Taxi 69)

$45 for front set and $45 for the rear

High preformance (LTM) best used with slotted rotors in particular DBA4000

$85 for front set and $85 for the rear

They also have one for track use (81RM) and are about as dusty as bendix ultimate but offer even better stopping power

$95 for the front set and $95 for the rear.

The owner of QFM used to work for Bendix in their design section. He retired some years ago and moved up to QLD and since then has been developing brakes.

All this info was from Tyrone at QFM

5 Dewrang St Cardiff NSW 2285

0418 48 8781

They have all types in stock

He also advised me that there is another supplier in Belmore NSW called

Universal Spares

45 Drummond St Belmore NSW 2192

ph: (02) 9787 1444 Motor Accessories--W'salers & Mfrs

They only have the basic ones in stock

Ill let you all know how it goes when I pick up mine.

Rob

Not 100% sure yet the Track ones look pretty good at that price and just $10 per end more than the HP ones

I was thinking if they are good I might talk to the guy about a group buy

Not bad Pad's, we used to stock them in my old workshop.

They wear very well once bedded in properly (More bedding in required than bendix) and they are pretty much the one price across the there model range.

We generally used the Taxi Pack standards with great results in the workshop and you could get allot of margin on them compared to the Bendix with more milage between changes.

I use the LTM high performance in my car at the moment, I have slotted DBA's also and can't fault them. Get very good milage out of them to with a fair bit of hard braking.

Dito for what Goldie said,

No dust or squeal but I did have one lot of shudder but I doubt this was the pads to be honest and a machine fixed it
