I had a little trubble on the way home.. had a sway bar nut come lose.. (dodge last minute installs ) which explained the strange suspension knocking towards the end of the day. Some one get some pics up please I got some on my phone but they're pretty poor quality.and now I'm going to sleep.. I'm buggered!

But I'm afraid you missed one helluva cruise Dagabond, thanks for making it mate. You know how the guys like to rib you about cruises AceofSpades, thanks for the car advice.xr6boy, thanks for the manuals.SCRIBR, thanks for keeping up the rear.djmickyg, thanks for joining us and glad you made it back okay with nothing serious.silverchris, thanks for your help sussing out the photo opp near Apollo Bay.TURBOBF, thanks for showing us how its done Bain, thanks coming along and sorry we missed you at Apollo Bay, but I understand. Geez it was hot in Apollo Bay - our feet and tyres were sticking to the melting road - literally I really enjoyed the cruise. It is up there as one of best FordXR6Turbo cruises I've been on so far with the forum in terms of the guys who came along, roads we travelled on and the weather. Twisties before lunch, twisties after lunch and what was initially a route to avoid homebound traffic into Geelong was quite an enjoyable run My trip computer says 488km round trip door to door today. And, I am so buggered as well I'll post up some pics soon. Edited 19/02/07 03:30 AM by EvilDaifu

See your home earlier than others Bain...... ←hehe yeah.I got in at 4.30pm - We were going to head straight back to Melbourne after the Apollo Bay lunch anyhow. (we had to meet some friends at 6.30)The twisties are my favourite kind of drive. You actually get to use the power of the XR6T.I came across a Hilux that was given the twisties a bit of a thrashing (was quite suprised!)Here's my pics.. Not really any group shots as the only place I took a pic of all the cars was at the Shell Servo! (after Red Rooster there was no stops -for me- till Apollo Bay)
