Hey Guys...

I was sitting in my chair going over some tech articles and thought I might start a discussion on possible additions for the XR6 NA that haven't been developed but we might like to dream about having on our cars.

Some ideas such as, but not limited to:

> Enhanced Throttle Body Designs

> Revised Intake

> Compression Ratio Changes

> etc, etc, etc...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I thought of this as I was going over some specs for NA BMW engines in the article listed below. They claim stock 202kw but race versions tuned to 350kw... Why isn't this technology visited? maybe even the turbos would like some answers... if NA can get results like that, why can't they?

Here's the article to get you started... (thanks to AutoSpeed for the article)

Enjoy Guys :stirthepot:

Ok guys...

the real reason Why I brought this up?

I WANT TO SEE MULTIPLE THROTTLE BODIES!!!

I was just wondering what other peoples Ideas might be?

Plugs, the NGK are good but theres better out there. Testing very soon with spitfire plugs (if they fit, Spitfire said they do, but you never know)

Electric Water Pump (that's all I'll say)

If a mate here who'd be asleep now could send you a PM pic of a project of ours, we've been working on for a bit, you'll like it, trust me. It may never work but its F'N cool.

have you got an electric waterpump in development have you, because I have of recent thought about doing this myself.

I know that I could always buy the davies craig universal electric water pump and fit that but I would but rather mount one where the factory one is mounted.

I would more then likey try mountingsomething similar to this:

So maybe within the next 4 months I may have one fitted, if this become reality I will be sure to let every one know.

Cheers

What sort of advantages come with an electric water pump?

As for new products, BPT are apparently working on some high output ignition coils for the 6.

Dual TBs have been done on the 6. A member on fordforums with the username Ruger got one fabricated by Jays RPD. It is still a work in progress however.

with the number of cars making 300+,400+ and 500+ rwkw's on standard coil packs i wonder what benefits high output packs would have for us mere mortals?

I would be very interested in the high putput coil packs!

It will allow you to open the plug gap up a little more to get a better initial burn without the fear of the fire going out. Worth a fair bit more power apparently.

Exit : I wrote this before seeing the above - but thanks for making my point!
