Maybe you could advise some of us 'Monkeys' how to stay on the tarmac Jeff,  :roflmbo:

Well, for starters, you'll need atleast half a tank of gas. :crybaby:

I have a GT now, fat chance of that.

Well ... if you want your boomerang to come back, first you gotta throw it.

When you're ready to go to the track I'll give you some free pointers ... :tease:

Well if a stock T is getting 245rwkW, I'm confident I don't need anywork done on my F6 as it must already be making 270rwkW.

:roflmbo:

Unless we all get our cars dynoed on the same day, under the same conditions comparing different dynoes is ridiculous.

It's just a number that is useful for gauging how well the mods are going if you have a base reading. Only an engine dyno is an accurate measure of power.

I pulled 184.5 on a DD dyno at 2100kms, at 31,000kms before mods, it ran up 196 on mainlime dyno.

In betwenn that time, the car ran 13.92 @ 102mph at Calder, totally stock.

Dynos are like spanners, they are tools just as some of the many forum members are! :roflmbo:

Did'nt a certain blk 10 sec T roll up 330rwklw on HPF dyno then 400rwklw on the XTC dyno then the next day it went back to HPF and it went 330 rwklw again :roflmbo::crybaby:

Think that would tell me enough - I'm not looking to brag the car was traded a while ago...it did a trap speed of 102mph on my best effort - but I suck at drags, not enough corners and braking for my liking.

My car had 212rwkw stock, 5spd manual.

My car has run up a best of 324rwkw with the current mods but slightly more boost... it currently sits near 300 (296rwkw to be exact... as per it's last dyno run) and this is by far the fastest, most angry, and most tyre turning tune I've had. So what is the difference? It's all in the tune, not the wog, but the tune. The exact same tune as the 296rwkw tune has run up 279rwkw and has also run up over 300rwkw... so what is quicker? None of them are, why? Because they are all the exactly the same car with exactly the same tune in them... but at different times of day... hot after a few runs up on the dyno, cold, as in 1st run up on a dyno... etc...

Drive my car on a really hot day (35c) and it goes like a clagger, drive my car on a day (morning) with 5 degree temps or less and it will scare the life out of you... ask my mate from work with the modded CBR600 (and XR6T) who's butt I handed to him on the way to work one day, cold temps suit these cars, I ran a ZX7-R from about 80kph to just on 240kph and I had him, but it was cold and my car was going great. Dyno figures are what they are, they aren't the be all and end all, but they are a guide to a cars performance and nothing more.
