THe car is a 6 speed manual BA Mk2 turbo. Must say that the difference is huge especially in the heat. The hot weather doe not bother the car anymore, you can feel a slight drop in power when it's really hot but not like with the stock intercooler.I would recommend an intercooler upgrade for anyone, whichever brand you want to use go ahead. Obviously some have advantages over others.....but I was happy with the direct bolt up (after some modification!) wog cooler as it was relatively easy to fit. I was looking at the APS kit but the expense was not worth it for my level of modification in the end.
