Hi TurboTaxi,

Just a question on the system, do you have to run the car on pertrol from time to time or have you purely just run it on lpg & leave a qtr tank of petrol in it.

Was sort of economy comparison between fuels do you get?

Considering converting my car to LPG

Thanks

Hi there it starts on petrol and changes over at 20 degrees. I sometimes drive on petrol for 50k's or so just to ensure the petrol doesnt get too old.

Petrol is 11l/100k open road. LPG is 13 l/100 open road.

go for it!

Anyone got any update on this topic? How their conversion is working out - mileage / HP / any problems?

Anyone know who is doing Liquid injection LPG conversions in Sydney - with T experience?

Thanks and cheers,

I regret I have not been here for a while.

The LPG has been faultless - I still get 13l/100 and now have 145,000 on the clock - that's over 55,000 on the LPG.

Goes like a trooper.

APS and Hilbert know their stuff and their after sales service has been first rate.

There isn't so much Government funding anymore, but probably still some saving with LPG.

What vapour system are you running?

The liquid system would probably give more KW, but seems to cost even more.

NSW government funding is still in place but its $1750, every july of each passing year it will decrease by 250! so july 2010 it will be $1500! etc etc how do I know? I just got rebated 1750 for a $5000 liquid injection lpg tank!
