Hi Folks,

I am a regular visitor to AFF and noticed a link there one day to this site.

I recently leased a 2005 BA MKII XR6T and had the an injected LPG system fitted by APS in Melbourne. The technical man behind the LPG set up was Hilbert Klaster who has been in the LPG industry for some time.

I can tell you the car makes more power on LPG than on petrol.

I am picking the car up tomorrow (in Sydney) and will be happy to post some pictures when I get it home.

I googled for XR6T on LPG and there was some old threads here from this site. I though some of those people might like to know it has happened.

Happy new year!

I have seen an xr6turbo with gas injection before.

it was 300 rwkw using gas and fuel with a switching point above 250rwkw where it was fuel only.

they said it was a seamless transition computer controlled with the edit.

meen and green :spoton:

TurboTaxi,

:roflmbo: to the site mate.

I had seen you over at AFF and was waiting to see the progress of the conversion.

It is good to see that they have finally got a LPG system to work with the turbos.

We look forward to your evaluation of the system as I am sure a few people will be very interested in this conversion, especially since the government will give you $2,000 for the mod. :spoton:

Nice one mate, 2 LPG turbo falcons now.

Any pics of the set up? Whats it worth?

Yeah still got the turbo LPG AU, cant part with it after all the skinned knuckles and time.

The cost was $4000, but that was because I agreed to the car being used for emissions testing. They (APS and Hilbert) also had to use my car to get the tune right for XR6T's.

I think the cost would come in a little higher, but I dont think too much.
